Nordia Sherwood is the President and founder of Chance For A Brighter Future INC a youth mentorship program.  With a background in Psychology, Sherwood has always been intrigued by the mind and human behavior. As a mother, she was forced to raise two sons on her own, when her then-late husband succumbed to cancer. This is when Sherwood’s passion for her vision began. Sherwood is also currently a caregiver for her nephew who is an orphan. She understands wholeheartedly the pain and trauma associated with losing someone you love.

Nordia Sherwood along with her team of like-minded individuals has the vision to be a catalyst that will positively impact change with the youth and give them the essential tools needed to live above their current circumstances and the environmental impact of the poverty barrier. We believe each child deserves a chance for a brighter future.
